Koba notices when you’re charged twice

Connect a supported US or Canadian bank and Koba reads the activity for you: it matches charges to what you already logged so nothing counts twice, notices two identical charges or an unusual one, and recognises a card payment as moving your own money.

  1. Koba: Ridgeback Fitness charged your Visa CA$39.00 twice on Sun, Sep 27. both are real charges on the card
  2. Koba: your membership is one charge a month, so one of them may be a billing mistake
  3. You: ugh. what do I do
  4. Koba: I wrote a note to their support with both charges. both stay in your budget until a refund shows up, and I’ll match it when it does

Every bank line is matched, so nothing counts twice

Questions

Can Koba move money from my account?

No. Koba reads transactions from the accounts you select. It cannot transfer, pay or hold money.

Which banks are supported?

Bank connections are provided by Plaid for supported institutions in the US and Canada. Support and sign-in methods vary by bank, and Plaid shows whether yours is available before you connect.

What if my bank asks me to sign in again?

Koba tells you which connection needs attention and sends you straight to the fix. Only that account pauses.

What happens to my history if I disconnect?

New activity stops at once. The expenses you logged and split stay yours.
