Tell Koba once how you like things handled

Rules are plain sentences. The next matching receipt is filed and split by itself, Koba tells you which rule did it, and one word puts it back.

  1. You: from now on greenleaf receipts go to the house, split four ways
  2. Koba: got it. that rule runs before your other defaults
  3. Thursday 6:12 pm
  4. You send a photo of a Greenleaf Market receipt.
  5. Koba: filed by your Greenleaf rule: CA$187.48 in Maple Street Household, CA$46.87 each. say undo if it wasn’t for the house

Specific rules run first, and every automatic action is explained

A rule about one store runs before a general default. A rule about your own spending applies as soon as a receipt matches. One that touches a shared space follows that space’s settings, and Koba checks with you when it would change someone else’s share. A recent action can be undone until something newer changes the same record.

Questions

Can a rule change someone else’s share?

Not on its own. Rules that touch a shared space follow that space’s settings, and Koba asks when one would change another person’s money.

Can a rule ask instead of acting?

Yes. Any rule can be set to ask first.

How do I stop a rule?

Pause or delete it by text, in the app or on the web. It stops immediately.
