Send the receipt and everyone knows their share
Drop a receipt in the group chat and say who it’s for. Koba puts it in the right space, splits it to the cent and keeps one balance everyone can see. Someone wasn’t there? Say so, and the same expense updates.

Settling up
When the trip ends, everyone gets one request
Koba nets the weekend down to one amount per person and sends each their own request. It follows up once, kindly, and stops the moment you confirm the money arrived.
- One amount per person

Questions
How does Koba know which space a receipt belongs to?
It uses the group chat you sent it from and the space that chat is in. When a receipt could belong to two places, or someone is new, it asks instead of guessing.
Can I split by item or leave someone out?
Yes. Split evenly, by amount, by item, or say who wasn’t there. Shares always add back to the exact total on the receipt.
Do my friends need the app or an account?
No. They take part in the group chat. If they sign up later, the same spaces and history are there.
Does Koba move the money?
No. Koba keeps the record and does the asking. You pay each other the way you already do, and a debt is settled when the person who was paid confirms it.
